Day 2 of my 5/3/1 program: Leg Day!
(I didn't follow the program exactly today because this was my first raw squatting in a while.
I will figure out my percentages from the work I did today and follow the program here on out.)
Diet throughout the day was not too bad and hydration was good. I took creatine (loading phase dose) and BCAA's w/ caffeine as pre-workout. Felt a little tired still and sore from Saturday. (last workout... deadlifts)
Main lift squat:
Warmup - bar 2 x 12 (get lose and find my form)
135 x 2 x 10
225 x 2 x 8
315 x 1 x 6
225 x 1 x 8
135 x 1 x 10
Front squat: 135 x 1 x 8
Zercher squat: 135 x 1 x 8
secondary lifts: bi's, tri's, abs
bi's/tri's - (A lot of curls and pus downs w/ pull up and dip finisher)
abs - (Tree chopper / static hold / landmine finisher)
- No cardio today because the cardio area was way too crowded. -
